GETTING STARTED
1. REGISTRATION Register your account with your username as the first name of your character. Your display name MUST be the first and last name of your character. There are no exceptions.
2. APPEARANCE Your profile MUST have an avatar; it can not be some random quote or saying unless you have a signature of your character. If not, your avatar must be a picture of your character's play-by. Your signature can NOT exceed 500 pixels; we do not want anyone's signatures spreading the boards. If anything is too graphic, it will be removed and you will be warned.
3. PLAY-BY All characters MUST have a play-by for them. No photobucket or flickr kids! If you are having trouble finding a play-by, you can find quite a good selection here.
4. CHARACTERS ONE character per account; the amount of characters you can have is unlimited, but be aware that all the characters you make MUST BE ACTIVE!
5. ACCEPTANCE Your character must be accepted before you can post ANYWHERE, including OOC! This is extremely important, everyone. You WILL be deleted if you break this rule!
6. RESPECT Be respectful to your fellow members and especially your administrators! All of us have worked really hard on this site; don't make us mean.
7. DON'TS No fighting; No spamming; No copying.
8. RP LEVEL Please keep in mind that this is an intermediate-advanced level of roleplay. If you aren't prepared for this, DO NOT JOIN! This will require a high level of activity and it will take your complete devotion. The secret words are: humor me. If you can't offer that, do not register.

APPLICATION
1. ACCEPTED Your application will be accepted by an administrator with a post.
2. MOVED Once the file has been moved to the 'Accepted' subboard, you are free to post wherever you wish!
3. NECESSARIES Remember afterwards to go and claim your play-by at the Face Claim and to post on the Listing as well. Both are MUSTS, so do it, people!
4. ABILITIES If your character is a vampire, then your character can have ONE ability. See the list in the Application board for details! It MUST be off the Abilities List.
5. BANS There are sometimes bans posted up for certain types of characters. Make sure you pay close attention to these! They will have a thread of their own under the Applications board; remember that there are always premade pairs up for grabs in the Canons board.

POSTING
1. LENGTH A minimum of 350 words are required in all posts made by members! This is an intermediate to advanced RP; this is what you will be required to do on here. Anything less will give you a warning.
2. GRAMMAR Grammar is something we should be able to use by this point; please use it in your posts. Spelling and etc. will be checked by me, so please don't write in chatspeak or anything stupid like that unless it is OOC.
3. POWERPLAYING NOT allowed. Powerplaying is when you control something the other character does! [ex: Jimmy died] This will NOT be tolerated.
4. DOUBLE POSTING NOT allowed. You can NOT post with two characters that you play in one post. You MAY, however, post as some random person, like a servant or a teacher, etc.
5. MULTIPLE POSTS ARE allowed. Your are allowed to have one character in more than one thread. Just make sure you keep ALL of them active.
6. OOC Please nothing TOO excessive in IC threads. If I consider it too much, you will be warned.
7. MATURE Mature content [ex: sex, drugs, violence] is allowed, but if it is too gory or nasty, you should keep it inside the Mature Board. Contact me for the password; I'll be happy to give it over to you. Outside the Mature Board, once all clothes go off, it should fade.
